What is special about My Busy Kit?
Every kit has a combination of items to spark curiosity and sustain interest over time. We include toys and activities from four main categories: color and draw, play and pretend, create and construct, and discovery (i.e., using gadgets to discover the world around you). By choosing a broad assortment of activities to encourage independent play, My Busy Kit becomes an imagination builder for kids, and a sanity saver for adults!
Do your product contents change?
Yes, specific product contents may change, but the mix (something to color, play, create, & discover) remains the same.
How big are your kits?
Our standard size kits are about the size of a school lunchbox, approximately 8 inches wide.
What is the age range for your kits?
The standard age range is from 3 to 7 years old, although we've had kids older and younger use them.
Do you offer a guarantee?
We guarantee your satisfaction. We send replacement items if necessary. We do everything we can to make sure you have a positive experience with our products.
Are your toys safe?
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act was signed into law on August 14th, 2008. The CPSCIA changed the product safety requirements relating to lead and phthalates in children's products. In addition, California Assembly Bill 1108, also known as the Toxic Toy Act, bans phthalates in any children’s product beginning January 1, 2009. My Busy Kit is well informed about the recent legislation and takes the matter very seriously. We have contacted our toy suppliers to obtain their safety statements and certificates related to CPSCIA, and only do business with those vendors who affirmatively state their compliance with the new laws. We also subscribe to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notification list so that we are aware of toy recalls. Please contact us if you have further questions about toy safety or our suppliers, and register with us to be notified about product updates or recalls.
How is My Busy Kit going Green?
My Busy Kit looks proactively for ways to be environmentally friendly. We recycle our toy packaging and use recyclable materials wherever possible. The My Busy Kit bags are reusable, so families do not throw away bags when they purchase our kits, but use them for multiple trips and even refill them with their own toys. My Busy Kit also repurposes extra bags into activity kits for needy families. Soon we will add another dimension to our green efforts - an educational Eco Busy Kit with earth-friendly items and activities for kids.
How do I place an order?
You can place your order online through this website, or you can call Lorraine at 650-218-3387 to order over the phone, or you can email support@mybusykit.com to order via email.
When do orders get processed?
We try to ship within a day of receiving the order.
What shipping method do you use and how much is shipping?
We ship with USPS Priority Mail, which takes 2 to 3 days to destinations within the United States. Shipping costs depend upon the total weight of your order, but generally a couple of Busy Kits cost $6.00 shipping. We can also overnight kits with FedEx or USPS Express Mail, but those charges are high and must be quoted. |
